Our COE’s are GOLDEN!

In the Carolinas Chapter of the Parkinson’s Foundation, we are incredibly lucky to have three Centers of Excellence (COEs) that provide incredible support to our local PD communities. These are designated medical centers with a specialized team that practices the latest Parkinson’s disease (PD) treatments, research, and provides the very best care. One of those centers that’s found in the Charleston area is the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC).

MUSC has been a tremendous partner to the Parkinson’s Foundation and is going the extra mile yet again this year to support Moving Day Charleston. We are honored to have MUSC as a gold level sponsor of the event, and we could not make such an impact in the local community without their unwavering support. Dr. Vanessa Hinson, MUSC Director of Movement Disorders, and her team help so many navigate their PD journey, and they’ll all be at Moving Day Charleston to offer their support there as well! Register today to join us and their team at Charleston Southern University as we work and move together to beat Parkinson’s in the Carolinas!

Moving Day has raised nearly $45 million and brought more than 186,000 participants together.
