I am participating in Moving Day® Atlanta, benefiting the Parkinson’s Foundation, on Saturday, October 19, 2019 at Piedmont Park – The Promenade. Also, I am participating for my sons and grandchildren (not here just yet ;-). Wouldn’t be grand if our grandchildren asked their parents “What is Parkinson’s Disease?” because all the research Parkinson’s Foundation does helped to find the cure!

The event will be a fun-filled, family-friendly event for all ages and abilities. We will be able to enjoy a variety of movement activities as demonstrated by instructors in the PD Gladiators Fitness Network.

Please consider being a part of our team or sponsoring me, and I encourage you to get your friends, family and coworkers involved. Even a small amount will make a difference. If you donate even five dollars and  send this note to five people that’s thirty dollars. Then ask your friends to send it to five people. You get this idea!  ;-D

Thank you for helping me reach my fundraising goal to support the vital work of the Parkinson’s Foundation. There are so many resources that, through our donations, allows the Parkinson’s Foundation to continue to supply at NO COST for people with PD and their Care Partners who are thirsting for information they know they can trust.

Why Move for Moving Day?

Did you know that someone is diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease every 9 minutes in the United States? No one should have to face Parkinson’s alone. That is why the Parkinson’s Foundation provides a community of support to give people the resources and help they need to live well with Parkinson’s.

Support our mission to help every person diagnosed with Parkinson’s live their best possible quality of life now. Your gift will help us fund better research, better treatment and better lives.
