I am participating in Moving Day® Atlanta , benefiting the National Parkinson Foundation, on Saturday, October 21, 2017. This is something near and dear to me as my grandfather, John Cargle, had Parkinson’s disease. I saw the changes and struggles he went through over the years while he battled this horrible disease. This also affected my grandmother Frances Cargle, who was his caregiver, and it’s just as rough on a caregiver as it the one battling the disease.
The event will be a fun-filled, family-friendly event for all ages and abilities. We will be able to enjoy a variety of movement activities yoga, dance, Pilates, Tai Chi, boxing, stretching and much more and celebrate the importance of movement in our lives.
Thank you for helping me reach my fundraising goal to support the vital work of the National Parkinson Foundation.
