I am a 7th grader at Autrey Mill Middle School. This year I am working on my mitzvah project. A mitzvah project is a good deed or charitable project that you do in the community before your bar or bat mitzvah. For my mitzvah project, I am participating in Moving Day® Atlanta , benefiting the Parkinson’s Foundation, on Saturday, October 21, 2017. I chose Moving Day for my mitzvah project in honor of my grandma (Mermer) who recently passed away. My Mermer had Parkinson’s disease.
I would love for you to join my team and walk with me and my family on Saturday, October 21, in memory of my Mermer. The event will be a fun-filled, family-friendly event for all ages and abilities. We will be able to enjoy a variety of movement activities yoga, dance, Pilates, Tai Chi, boxing, stretching and much more and celebrate the importance of movement in our lives. If you are not able to join us and walk, but would still like to support this wonderful cause, you can donate through our team. Please consider being a part of my team or sponsoring me, and I encourage you to get your friends, family and coworkers involved.
Thank you for helping me reach my fundraising goal to support the vital work of the Parkinson’s Foundation. All donations are greatly appreciated! Together we can make a difference ?
