Thank you for helping us reach our fundraising goal to support the vital work of the Parkinson’s Foundation!
In the United States, 50,000-60,000 new cases of Parkinson’s disease (PD) are diagnosed each year, adding to the one million people who currently have PD. This year, Parkinson’s disease hit home for our family. While we were shocked by Frank’s diagnosis, we have decided to meet this disease head-on, keeping a positive attitude, taking it one day at a time, and doing all we can to educate ourselves, raise awareness, and fight with everything we’ve got to beat this disease!
One of our first steps in this process is participating in Moving Day® Atlanta, benefiting the Parkinson’s Foundation, on Saturday, October 27, 2018 at the Piedmont Park Promenade. The event will be a fun-filled, family-friendly event for all ages and abilities. We will be able to enjoy a variety of movement activities yoga, dance, Pilates, Tai Chi, boxing, stretching and much more and celebrate the importance of movement in our lives.
Please consider being a part of Team Frisaac or sponsoring us, and we encourage you to get your friends, family and coworkers involved as well!
