As many of you know, my big sister Cindy was diagnosed with Parkinson’s Disease three years ago. She has been working hard to maintain her strength and mobility every day. This week she has needed to begin a medication that is the ultimate Parkinson’s drug in order to build her muscle strength and mobility. I say this is the ultimate drug because at this point there is no stronger drug available.

I am participating in Moving Day® Chicago, benefiting the Parkinson’s Foundation, on Sunday, October 15, 2017, at Lincoln Park, South Fields.

The event will be a fun-filled, family-friendly event for all ages and abilities. We will be able to enjoy a variety of movement activities yoga, dance, Pilates, Tai Chi, boxing, stretching and much more and celebrate the importance of movement in our lives.

Please consider being a part of my team or sponsoring me, and I encourage you to get your friends, family and coworkers involved.

Thank you for helping me in supporting my sister and in reaching my fundraising goal to support the vital work of the Parkinson’s Foundation.
