Thanks for visiting my page!

I decided to start this team in honor of a dear friend, mentor and idol.  I have known Dianne for over 3 years now and she has played a very special role in my life and now is my chance to give back.

Dianne was recently diagnosed with early onset Parkinson’s Disease earlier this year.  With the toll that this disease can have on someone both mentally and physically, this is a way that we can give back to her and all of those that have been affected by Parkinson’s.

I am participating in Moving Day® Chicago this year to benefit the National Parkinson Foundation which will be held on Sunday, October 15, 2017 in Lincoln Park’s South Fields. We have started a team in Dianne’s honor, Dianne’s Finest Gems!, to be a part of the event!

We would love to have all friends and family to be a part of the event. It will be a fun-filled, family-friendly event for all ages and abilities. We will be able to enjoy a variety of movement activities yoga, dance, Pilates, Tai Chi, boxing, stretching and much more and celebrate the importance of movement in our lives.

However, if is not possible to participate in Moving Day® Chicago, donations to the team is greatly appreciated and will help continue research and provide necessities to those who have Parkinson’s Disease. We also have personalized pullovers in honor of Dianne available to purchase in the links below!
