Welcome to our Moving Day® Team Page!

In the United States, 50,000-60,000 new cases of Parkinson’s disease (PD) are diagnosed each year, adding to the one million people who currently have PD.

My mom, Jackie Raper, was one of these 1 million people. She was diagnosed with Parkinson’s when I was in college.  It was with great sadness that she left us in March to take her place in heaven.  If you knew her, our team’s name (The Queen’s Court) will probably make you smile as it did me. She was full of fire and excitement up into her last years of life. The complications began to take over and her ability to get around and even eat were daily challenges.  Not being able to help a person, especially your MOM, in that situation is extremely difficult.  We need better resources to manage the disease and complications that each patient endures. The only way for that to happen is to understand Parkinson’s Disease better which will lead to more enhanced treatments and ultimately a cure.

I don’t have the ability to research the medical fixes, but I can ask for donations for a great cause. Your donations or participation in this event will broaden the awareness of Parkinson’s Disease and help the foundation fund crucial research.

Please consider a donation or join our team.

Thank you so very much!!

Thank you for supporting us and the vital work of the Parkinson’s Foundation.

We miss her everyday, but she will NEVER BE FORGOTTEN!!! Love you MOM!!!!
