I am participating in Moving Day® San Francisco, benefiting the Parkinson’s Foundation, on Sunday, May 5, 2019 at Embarcadero Plaza. I have a personal goal to raise $200 for the cause, and I hope you can join me in raising awareness and financial support that will go towards benefiting research for Parkinson’s Disease patients.
It is difficult to see our loved friends and family members be taken away by diseases of the brain, but we must not lose hope that we can find a cure for Parkinson’s and even Alzheimer’s. My late grandfather had dementia in the last 10 years of his life, and to see him lose his personality and wit is disheartening. As with many other health fundraisers out there, my goal is to bring awareness to folks who may not know of mental health diseases and in particular, Parkinson’s Disease. I would be grateful if you can consider sponsoring me to raise money for this cause.
Thank you for helping me reach my fundraising goal to support the vital work of the Parkinson’s Foundation.
