This will be my 4th year participating in Moving Day® Tampa Bay, benefiting the Parkinson’s Foundation, on Saturday, April 7, 2018, at the University of South Florida.
I am walking in the memory of my friend, Howard Muffler. Howard was diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease in 2000. He was a member of Mense International. Prior to surgery Howard would research and study parts of his brain that was effected by Parkinson’s disease. During his surgeries Howard would instruct the surgeon on where to operate in his brain. Howard asked me to please be involved with Parkinson’s and I promised him that I would. Unfortunately, Howard passed away on December 1, 2008. He was 48 years young.
I would be honored to walk for those affected by Parkinson’s disease.
The event will be a fun-filled, family-friendly event for all ages and abilities. We will be able to enjoy a variety of movement activities yoga, dance, Pilates, Tai Chi, boxing, stretching and much more and celebrate the importance of movement in our lives.
Please consider being a part of my team or sponsoring me, and I encourage you to get your friends, family and coworkers involved.
Thank you for helping me reach my fundraising goal to support the vital work of the Parkinson’s Foundation.
