Welcome to My Personal Page
Twelve years ago I was diagnosed with Parkinson's disease and did not really understand the impact it would have on my life. I was a long distance runner and loved to exercise. Today, I still exercise, but in shorter durations and sometimes even walking is difficult. Every year, the Parkinson’s Foundation sponsors a special event called Moving Day Twin Cities® to help raise awareness and funding for Parkinson’s research, education, and programs that support Parkinson’s patients.
I will be participating in Moving Day Twin Cities® on Saturday, May 4, 2024. There will be music, refreshments and a variety of movement activities including yoga, dance, Pilates, Tai Chi, boxing, and of course walking to celebrate the importance of movement in our lives. You can find more information about the event at https://movingdaywalk.org/event/moving-day-twin-cities. All ages and abilities are welcome.
The event will be held at Hilde Performance Center Park in Plymouth (next to Lifetime Fitness). Registration is at 9 am and the walk starts at 10 am after a brief opening program.
Your support will truly make a difference to help fund research, treatment and better lives for those suffering from Parkinson’s disease. Thank you so much for your kind support and I would love to have you join our team at Moving Day® Twin Cities on Saturday, May 4, 2024.
Every dollar I raise goes a long way in helping the Parkinson's Foundation fulfill its mission of improving the lives of the million+ Americans with Parkinson's. Please support me in this fight by making a donation. Your generosity will help raise awareness, more funding and more understanding of a disease that affects so many of our family and friends.
Together, let's make a life-changing difference!
Thank you!
