This cause is so very near to my heart – my beautiful Momma was diagnosed with Parkinson’s a couple of years ago. With this diagnosis, she joined the ranks of people like “The Greatest” Muhammad Ali, Michael J. Fox and of course her absolute favorite celebrity Neil Diamond! She is a warrior as she tackles this disease every day, and my dad as well since he is the primary care giver for his bride of 50 years! Samantha and I have started a team and will be participating in the Moving Day Walk for the Parkinson’s Foundation in honor of my Mom. Our goal is to raise $500 for the November 3rd walk. I would be honored if you can make a donation – however small (or big!) to meet and exceed this goal, to our team – Sandy’s Shakers, in celebration of my mom Sandy.

I am participating in Moving Day® Venice, benefiting the Parkinson’s Foundation, on Saturday, November 3, 2018, at Maxine Barritt Park.

The event will be a fun-filled, family-friendly event for all ages and abilities. We will be able to enjoy a variety of movement activities yoga, dance, Pilates, Tai Chi, boxing, stretching and much more and celebrate the importance of movement in our lives.

Please consider being a part of my team or sponsoring me, and I encourage you to get your friends, family and coworkers involved.

Thank you for helping me reach my fundraising goal to support the vital work of the Parkinson’s Foundation.
