The Parkinson’s Foundation is thrilled to announce the upcoming Fall Moving Day at Home, happening September 23rd to November 12th. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals and families to come together in support of the 90,000 individuals diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease every year.
To make things even more exciting, a special Moving Day registration challenge will be a part of this season’s event! Thanks to a special donation by Get LOUD Stay LOUD, registrants will be entered in to win a three-month membership for online Parkinson’s voice, speech, and swallowing exercise program. That’s right, everyone who registers between now and September 23rd will be entered in to win this prize.
How To Get Entered Into The Moving Day Challenge
To be entered into this special challenge, all you need to do is register for this season’s Moving Day at Home event at movingdayathome.org. Everyone who registers between now and September 23rd will have the chance to win this three-month membership.
About the Membership
Sponsored by Get LOUD Stay LOUD, this three-month online membership includes classes that target vocal loudness, speech clarity, word retrieval and cognition, swallowing function and much more! The raffle prize winner will have the option to use this service for themselves, or gift it to a loved one who would benefit from these classes.
What is Moving Day at Home
Moving Day at Home is a virtual Parkinson’s Foundation event that celebrates movement and exercise coast to coast while raising awareness and funds for the Parkinson’s Foundation. The event aims to highlight the importance of staying active and engaged, which plays a significant role in managing the symptoms of Parkinson’s. Whether you’re an individual living with Parkinson’s, a caregiver or know someone living with Parkinson’s, this is a great opportunity to make a positive impact in the lives of those living with Parkinson’s.
