Why move for Moving Day?
Get out and move with your community. Every dollar raised supports the Parkinson’s Foundation mission to make life better for people affected by Parkinson’s disease (PD). At Moving Day walks across the country, we’re fighting Parkinson’s and celebrating movement — proven to help manage Parkinson’s symptoms — and we’re doing it together. #Move4PD
Funds raised through Moving Day support the Parkinson’s Foundation mission by:
- Delivering quality care to more than 185,500 people living with Parkinson’s
- Funding cutting-edge research to improve treatments and advance toward a cure
- Providing free resources for people living with Parkinson’s and their families
Since 2011, Moving Day events across the country have gathered more than 130,000 participants and raised nearly $22 million to improve care and advance research toward a cure.
