Jessica Gagne joined WMTW News 8 as a morning anchor in 2023.

Jessica is an award-winning journalist who has been reporting and anchoring in Maine for almost a decade. She is the first and only female to be named Maine Sports Broadcaster of the Year and has covered major events such as the Super Bowl and World Series. She’s also anchored through important moments such as the Lewiston mass shooting, election nights, and storm coverage.

Jessica graduated with a BA in Journalism from Northeastern University in Boston, MA and is currently pursing her Masters in Business Administration at Babson College in Wellesley, MA.

Outside of work, Jessica enjoys spending time with her husband and young son, going to the beach, doing yoga, and cheering on all New England sports teams (Go Pats)!

Jessica grew up in Maine, is a graduate of Biddeford High School, and has lived in the state for majority of her life. She is happy to be back home reporting on the issues that matter to Mainers.
