Moving Day Baltimore is coming up on June 6 at UMBC! Register for Moving Day Baltimore and try out Rock Steady Boxing (RSB) with Sabine and her team. RSB is a non‑contact, boxing‑inspired fitness program specifically designed to improve the quality of life for people living with Parkinson’s disease. It focuses on combating symptoms such as balance issues, tremors, rigidity, and soft voice through intensive, functional exercises including heavy bag work, stretching, footwork, and agility drills. By emphasizing purposeful movement, balance, and coordination, Rock Steady Boxing empowers participants to stay active, build confidence, and fight back against Parkinson’s every day.
At Moving Day Baltimore, attendees will have the opportunity to see Rock Steady Boxing in action when RSB coach Sabine Evans leads a live movement demonstration, showcasing how these boxing-based exercises can support strength, mobility, and independence. Sabine also offers Rock Steady Boxing classes year-round at the East Columbia 50+ Center in Columbia, providing ongoing opportunities for individuals with Parkinson’s to train, connect, and thrive through movement.
