Rock Steady Boxing with Sabine Evans, CPT, RSB Coach

Rock Steady Boxing (RSB) is a non‑contact, boxing‑inspired fitness program specifically designed to improve the quality of life for people living with Parkinson’s disease. It focuses on combating symptoms such as balance issues, tremors, rigidity, and soft voice through intensive, functional exercises including heavy bag work, stretching, footwork, and agility drills. By emphasizing purposeful movement, balance, and coordination, Rock Steady Boxing empowers participants to stay active, build confidence, and fight back against Parkinson’s every day.

At Moving Day DC, attendees will have the opportunity to see Rock Steady Boxing in action when RSB coach Sabine Evans leads a live movement demonstration on stage, showcasing how these boxing-based exercises can support strength, mobility, and independence. Sabine also offers Rock Steady Boxing classes year-round at the East Columbia 50+ Center in Columbia, providing ongoing opportunities for individuals with Parkinson’s to train, connect, and thrive through movement.

Moving Day has raised $55.9 million and brought more than 218,000 participants together.
