For the second year in a row, Team Ireson has reminded us what it means to show up for the people you love.
After their father’s Parkinson’s diagnosis, Ethan and Ian Ireson wanted to help in a way that made sense to them. With the support of their mom, Alicia Ireson, they brought back their now-annual lemonade stand, a simple idea rooted in love for their dad.
On March 1, what could have been just a small neighborhood stand turned into something much bigger. More than half of their school came out to support. Other kids joined in by bringing baked goods to sell alongside the lemonade, turning the fundraiser into a full community effort led by children who simply wanted to make a difference.
This year alone, Team Ireson raised over $3,000 in support of the Parkinson’s Foundation.
Their story even caught the attention of WPTV, but what stands out most isn’t the recognition, it’s the leadership. Ethan and Ian didn’t just raise funds; they inspired their friends to get involved and showed that age is never a barrier to impact.
Ethan and Ian, thank you for your kindness, your courage, and the love you continue to show your dad and our entire Parkinson’s community. You are making a difference in more ways than you know.
