We are back to in person walks!

We have exciting news! We have decided to return to our exciting, fun and memorable in-person Moving Day walk experience this fall!

We’ve been counting down the days until we can safely come back together in person for Moving Day. Last year, countless Moving Day supporters showed us that nothing can stop our efforts to beat Parkinson’s. The impact of the ongoing pandemic on people living with Parkinson’s has been significant, so coming together to support the Parkinson’s Foundation mission to improve care and advance research toward a cure is critical.

The Parkinson’s Foundation is committed to hosting the Moving Day experience our community loves, including fitness demonstrations, information booths, our signature We Move Ceremony and of course, the Moving Day Walk – all while following safety and health protocols.  We will also have options for you to participate in Moving Day from home if you are unable to join us in person.

Our plan to keep you safe at Moving Day

The Parkinson’s Foundation is reviewing guidance from the CDC and the local health department to ensure a safe Moving Day experience this fall.

As guidance and safety measures evolve in the weeks and months ahead, we will continue to update you about what to expect at Moving Day.  We are committed to the health and safety of our supporters, volunteers and staff and as such will make the best local decisions regarding masks, social distancing, crowd management, modified event layouts and contactless engagement options onsite.  These decisions will be made, and adjusted, based on the unique needs and circumstances of the local community.

We can’t wait to move with you this fall!

Moving Day has raised nearly $45 million and brought more than 186,000 participants together.
