The countdown is on—Moving Day Las Vegas is almost here, and we couldn’t be more excited to move with you!

First, a heartfelt thank you. Your support is transforming the lives of people living with Parkinson’s disease, bringing hope, strength and resources to those who need it most.

What to Expect at Moving Day

Get ready for an inspiring and unforgettable day!

• Put on your gear: Lace up your comfortable shoes and wear clothes suitable for the weather
• Dive into activities: Experience energizing movement sessions, connect with local Parkinson’s resources and take part in the uplifting We Move Ceremony, all beginning before our walk kicks off!
• Enjoy the walk: Celebrate community and movement as we move together in the fight against Parkinson’s disease.

Remember, Moving Day happens rain or shine! Be sure to check the weather forecast and prepare accordingly. If there are any changes due to weather, we’ll notify you via email and text and update the Moving Day website.

Location & Parking

The event will be held at Sunset Park Area A, located at 2601 E Sunset Rd, Las Vegas, NV 89120. Follow directional signs towards the parking area.

Enter Sunset Park from E Sunset Rd to Sunset Park Rd. entrance. Follow directional signs to the parking areas and event site. Parking is along the interior park road and we will have some reserved and designated handicap spaces as well as a drop off area.

There will be a designated Safe drop-off area with Volunteers to help your loved one with Parkinson’s arrive safely to the event site.

Check-In/Registration

Check-in opens at 9:00 am. Stop by the check-in area to get your event program, drop off donations and pick up your Moving Day Rewards card, if eligible. We strongly recommend making online donations before the event. Remember, all participants must register in advance at MovingDayLasVegas.org.

Let us know you’re coming! Download the new Fundraise for Parkinson’s App and check in the day before so we know to expect you. You’ll still stop by the Registration tent upon arrival.”

Walk Route

The Moving Day Walk is for participants of all ages and abilities and is .75miles. Click HERE for the walk route map.

Refreshments

Enjoy bottled water and light snacks on-site.

Pets

Pets are welcome, but must be always leashed and in control of their owners.  Owners must come prepared to clean up after their pets.

Donations

Drop off cash and checks at the check-in area. Credit card donations can be made online or via the NEW Fundraise for Parkinson’s Moving Day app. You can also mail checks with a note including the participant’s name to ensure proper credit.

Moving Day Rewards

Participants who raise $100+ receive a Moving Day T-shirt. Check out additional rewards here. Pick up T-shirts and other rewards at the Rewards Tent. Participants who raise $1,000+ will receive the All Star Mover Quarter Zip Fleece after the event.
