- I am participating in Moving Day® Little Rock, benefiting the Parkinson’s Foundation, on Saturday, April 27, 2019, at the War Memorial Stadium.
As many of you know, on December 17th, 2018 my life changed forever. That’s the day I was diagnosed with young-onset Parkinson’s disease. As much of a shock as it was, my husband and I felt incredibly grateful that even-though my life is forever changed and I will face some difficult days, I will be able to live a long life with this disease. We are also very hopeful there will be a cure for this debilitating disease in my lifetime. They are making so many strides towards a cure and that is why we need your help! Fundraising is the key to research that can lead to advances in symptom management and eventually a cure.
Moving Day will be a fun-filled, family-friendly event for all ages and abilities. We will be able to enjoy a variety of movement activities like yoga, dance, Pilates, Tai Chi, boxing, stretching and much more and celebrate the importance of movement in our lives.
Please consider being a part of my team or sponsoring me, and I encourage you to get your friends, family and coworkers involved.
Thank you for helping me reach my fundraising goal to support the vital work of the Parkinson’s Foundation.
