Location & Parking
The event will be held at Lichterman Nature Center 5992 Quince Rd. Memphis, TN. 38119. Follow directional signs near the parking area. Parking lot available on site and accessible parking is available at the front of Lichterman Nature Center. All parking is free.
Check-In/Registration
Check-in opens at 9:00 am. Stop by the check-in area to get your event program, drop off donations and pick up your Moving Day Rewards card, if eligible. We strongly recommend making online donations before the event. Remember, all participants must register in advance at MovingDayMemphis.org.
Let us know you’re coming! Download the new Fundraise for Parkinson’s App and check in the day before so we know to expect you. You’ll still stop by the Registration tent upon arrival.”
Schedule of Events
9:00 am: Registration Opens
9:00 – 10:00 am: Explore resources, enjoy activities, connect with the community and listen to Guest Speakers.
10:00 – 11:00 am: Exercise Demos conducted by local exercise programs & a very special Dancing with Stars performance by Pepper Baker & Bartlett Mayor – David Parsons.
11:00 am – 12:00 pm: We Move Ceremony, Moving Day Walk & Awards at the We Move Stage
Walk Route
The Moving Day Walk is for participants of all ages and abilities: 1/2-mile option and a 1-mile option. The ½ mile walk is 1x around the marked path, the 1-mile walk is 2x around.
Restrooms
Restrooms will be available, including ADA-accessible restrooms, in the Davidson Pavilion or inside the Lichterman Nature Center main building.
Refreshments
Bottled water and light refreshments will be provided by our Refreshment Sponsor – Opus East Memphis.
Pets
We are sorry but pets are not allowed inside Lichterman Nature Center.
Donations
Drop off cash and checks at the check-in area. Credit card donations can be made online or via the NEW Fundraise for Parkinson’s Moving Day app. You can also mail checks with a note including the participant’s name to ensure proper credit.

Moving Day Rewards
Participants who raise $100+ receive a Moving Day T-shirt. Check out additional rewards here. Pick up T-shirts and other rewards at the Rewards Tent. Participants who raise $1,000+ will receive the All Star Mover Quarter Zip Sweatshirt after the event.
