Location & Parking
The event will be held at Mike Ward Community Park, located at 20 Lake Rd, Irvine, CA 92604. Follow posted directional signage near the parking area.
There are plenty of free parking spaces at the venue/park
Check-In / Registration
Check-in opens at 8:30am. Stop by the registration area to pick up your event program, drop off donations and collect your Moving Day Rewards card if eligible.
We strongly recommend making donations online before event day. All participants must be registered in advance at MovingDayOrangeCounty.org.
You can also help us prepare by downloading the Fundraise for Parkinson’s App before event day to stay up to date with day of event information, and easy communication with your team.
Schedule of Events
8:30 am – Registration Opens
9:00–9:30 am – Explore resources, enjoy activities, connect with the community and join on-stage movement demos
9:40 am – We Move Ceremony
9:50 am – Moving Day Walk Begins
10:30 am – Final Awards at the We Move Stage
Walk Route
Moving Day offers options for all ages and abilities, including a 0.5-mile route and a longer route.
Restrooms
Restrooms will be available.
There will be portable restrooms, including accessible portable restrooms, on sight with sink stations but the venue does has onsite accessible restrooms that will be available
Refreshments
Bottled water and light refreshments will be available on-site. Botted water will be proved along with granola bars. Kona Ice will also be available for onsite providing shaved ice treats. However, feel free to bring water for yourself.
Pets
Pets are welcome on a leash OR For everyone’s safety, please leave pets at home.
Donations
Cash and check donations can be dropped off at the check-in area. Credit card donations may be made online or through the Fundraise for Parkinson’s App.

Moving Day Rewards
Participants who raise $100 or more receive an exclusive Moving Day T-shirt. Additional rewards are available at higher levels. T-shirts and rewards may be picked up at the Rewards Tent.
Participants who raise $1,000 or more will receive the All-Star Mover Full Zip Lightweight Jacket via mail after the event.
