Location & Parking
The event will be held at Payson Park located at 755 Baxter Boulevard, Portland, Maine 04103. Follow directional signs towards the parking area.
Check-In/Registration
Check-in opens at 10:00 am. Stop by the check-in area to get your event program, drop off donations and pick up your Moving Day Rewards card, if eligible. We strongly recommend making online donations before the event. Remember, all participants must register in advance at MovingDayPortlandME.org.
Let us know you’re coming! Download the new Fundraise for Parkinson’s App and check in the day before so we know to expect you. You’ll still stop by the Registration tent upon arrival.
Schedule of Events
10:00 am: Registration Opens
10:00 – 10:30 am: Explore resources, enjoy activities, connect with the community and join on-stage exercise demos. Kids activities are available.
10:40 am: We Move Ceremony
10:50 am: Moving Day Walk Begins
11:45 am: Passport challenge winner(s) announced at the We Move Stage

Walk Route
The Moving Day Walk is for participants of all ages and abilities: 1-mile option. Click HERE for the walk route map.
Restrooms
Portable restrooms will be available on-site.
Refreshments
Enjoy bottled water and light snacks on-site.
Pets
Dogs are allowed in the park, please have your dog on a leash.
Donations
Drop off cash and checks at the check-in area. Credit card donations can be made online or via the NEW Fundraise for Parkinson’s Moving Day app. You can also mail checks with a note including the participant’s name to ensure proper credit.

Moving Day Rewards
Participants who raise $100+ receive a Moving Day T-shirt. Check out additional rewards here. Pick up T-shirts and other rewards at the Rewards Tent. Participants who raise $1,000+ will receive the All Star Mover Quarter Zip Sweatshirt after the event.
