Location: Richmond Raceway *NEW LOCATION*
Location & Parking
The event will be held at Richmond Raceway. You will enter at Gate 4, located at 810 E. Laburnum Ave, Richmond. An attendant will direct you to site which is located directly across from Lot D – Richmond Nation Permit Parking. Follow directional signs towards the parking area. Click here to view the map.
Check-In/Registration
Check-in opens at 9:30 am. Stop by the check-in area to get your event program, drop off donations and pick up your Moving Day Rewards card, if eligible. We strongly recommend making online donations before the event. Remember, all participants must register in advance at MovingDayRichmondVA.org.
Let us know you’re coming! Download the new Fundraise for Parkinson’s App and check in the day before so we know to expect you. You’ll still stop by the Registration tent upon arrival.”
Schedule of Events
9:30 am: Registration Opens
9:30 – 10:45 am: Explore resources, enjoy activities, connect with the community and join on-stage exercise demos. Kids activities are available.
10:45 am: We Move Ceremony
11:00 am: Moving Day Walk Begins
11:40 am: Final Awards at the We Move Stage and a boxed lunch provided by Pot Belly.
Walk Route
The Moving Day Walk is for participants of all ages and abilities: The walk is along the racetrack platform and participants have the option of walking one mile or two miles. The longer route is an out and back so you can turn around at any time. Click HERE for the walk route map.

Refreshments
Enjoy bottled water and light snacks on-site.
Pets
Dogs on short leashes are welcome to join you on Moving Day.
Donations
Drop off cash and checks at the check-in area. Credit card donations can be made online or via the NEW Fundraise for Parkinson’s Moving Day app. You can also mail checks with a note including the participant’s name to ensure proper credit.

Moving Day Rewards
Participants who raise $100+ receive a Moving Day T-shirt. Check out additional rewards here. Pick up T-shirts and other rewards at the Rewards Tent. Participants who raise $1,000+ will receive the All Star Mover Quarter Zip Sweatshirt after the event.
