What to Expect at Moving Day
Participants are invited to put on their Moving Day gear and join us in person at Moving Day San Jose. This year’s event will put our community’s energy on full display as we celebrate movement together. Moving Day is more than just a walk! Bring your friends and family to exercise, learn about Parkinson’s resources, take part in our signature We Move Ceremony, and, of course, enjoy the Moving Day Walk. You don’t want to miss the inspiring day we have planned for you!
Moving Day will take place rain or shine. Check the weather forecast to prepare accordingly. Should conditions warrant any change, we will announce it via email and the Moving Day website.

Location: Lake Cunningham Regional Park
Location & Parking
The event will take place at Lake Cunningham Regional Park, located at 2305 S White Rd, San Jose, CA 95148. Look for directional signage as you approach the parking area. You can park in lot B or C, near the Cypress Pavilion area of Lake Cunningham. Parking is $6 per day. If there is a line at one parking meter, try parking in the other lot.

Check-In/Registration
Check-in begins at 9:00 am. Visit the check-in/registration area to grab your event program, drop off donations and pick up your Moving Day Rewards card if you’ve earned Moving Day fundraising rewards. We highly encourage online donations before the event. Don’t forget that all participants must register at MovingDaySanJose.org beforehand.
Schedule of Events
9:00 am: Event begins
9:30 – 10:00 am: We Move exercise demonstrations at the Moving Day Stage
10:15 am: We Move Ceremony begins, followed by the Moving Day Walk
Walk Route
The Moving Day Walk is for participants of all ages and abilities: 1-mile option and a 2-mile option. Click here to view the walk route map.
Restrooms
Portable restrooms will be available for your use onsite.
Refreshments
We will provide water and prepackaged snacks. Be sure to bring your own water bottle to fill at a refilling station.
Pets
Dogs are welcome on leashes.
Donations
Drop off cash and check donations at the check-in/registration area. Credit card donations can be made online or through the Parkinson’s Moving Day App. You can also mail check donations to the provided address, ensuring to include a note with the participant’s name for proper credit.

Moving Day Rewards
Registered participants who raise $100 or more will receive an exclusive Moving Day T-shirt. More details about additional Moving Day Rewards can be found here. T-shirts and other rewards will be available for pick-up on the event day at the Rewards Tent, except for the All-Star Mover Zip-Up Hoodie Jacket, which will be shipped after the event to qualifying participants.
