What to Expect at Moving Day
Get ready for an inspiring and unforgettable day!
- Put on your gear: Lace up your comfortable shoes and wear clothes suitable for the weather
- Dive into activities: Experience energizing movement sessions, connect with local Parkinson’s resources and take part in the uplifting We Move Ceremony, all beginning before our walk kicks off!
- Enjoy the walk: Celebrate community and movement as we move together in the fight against Parkinson’s disease.
Remember, Moving Day happens rain or shine! Be sure to check the weather forecast and prepare accordingly. If there are any changes due to weather, we’ll notify you via email and text and update the Moving Day website.

Moving Day Walk Begins: 10:50 am
Location: Montecito of Santa Fe – 500 Rodeo Rd., Sant Fe, NM 87505
The event will be held at Montecito of Santa Fe, located at 500 Rodeo Rd., Sant Fe, NM 87505. Follow directional signs towards the parking area.
Upon entering the location, you will be greeted by parking volunteers who will direct you to the drop-off location and then where to park your vehicle. Check-in/Registration is inside in the lobby of Montecito. Once checked in you will proceed to the incentive area inside the lounge and then outside to the vendor area.

Check-In/Registration
Check-in opens at 9:00 am. Stop by the check-in area to get your event program, drop off donations and pick up your Moving Day Rewards card, if eligible. We strongly recommend making online donations before the event. Remember, all participants must register in advance at MovingDayMilwaukee.org.
Let us know you’re coming! Download the new Fundraise for Parkinson’s App and check in the day before so we know to expect you. You’ll still stop by the Registration tent upon arrival.

Walk Route
The Moving Day Walk is for participants of all ages and abilities and is 0.5 miles.

Refreshments
Enjoy water and breakfast Burritos on-site.
Pets
Pets are welcome but must be always leashed and in control of their owners. Owners must come prepared to clean up after their pets.
Donations
Drop off cash and checks at the check-in area. Credit card donations can be made online or via the NEW Fundraise for Parkinson’s Moving Day app. You can also mail checks with a note including the participant’s name to ensure proper credit.

Moving Day Rewards
Participants who raise $100+ receive a Moving Day T-shirt. Check out additional rewards here. Pick up T-shirts and other rewards at the Rewards Tent. Participants who raised $1,000+ will receive the All Star Mover Sweatshirt after the event.
