Location & Parking
The event will be held at The Villages Polo Club, located at 700 Buena Vista Blvd, The Villages, FL 32162. Follow posted directional signage near the parking area.
Golf carts will have a separate area for parking but will not be allowed on walk route.
Check-In / Registration
Check-in opens at 9 am. Stop by the registration area to pick up your event program, drop off donations and collect your Moving Day Rewards card if eligible.
Team Captains and top donors- please pick up your sign and team captain pin at the rewards tent
We strongly recommend making donations online before event day. All participants must be registered in advance at MovingDayTheVillagesfl.org.
You can also help us prepare by downloading the Fundraise for Parkinson’s App before event day to stay up to date with day of event information, and easy communication with your team.
Schedule of Events
9 am – Gates and Registration Opens (no entry permitted before 9am)
9:00–9:50 am – Explore resources, enjoy activities, and connect with the community
9:50 am – National Anthem/ Color Presentation
10:00 am – Performance by The Villages Drummers and Twirlers
10:30 am – gates close to secure walk route
10:10-10:40 am – Exercise Demos
10:45 am – We Move Ceremony
11:00 am – Walk begins
12:00 pm- Walk concludes and closing ceremonies
Walk Route
Moving Day offers options for all ages and abilities, including a 1-mile route and ½ mile route. Golf carts rides will also be provided by the venue on a first-come, first- serve basis for those that have physical limitations (24 spots available). They will line up at 10:45 am on the lane opposite the arch, near the pavilion.
Restrooms
Restrooms will be located under the pavilion
Refreshments
Bottled water and light refreshments will be available on-site.
Pets
Pets will not be allowed inside the event unless they are a registered service animal.
Donations
Cash and check donations can be dropped off at the check-in area. Credit card donations may be made online or through the Fundraise for Parkinson’s App or at check-in.

Moving Day Rewards
Participants who raise $100 or more receive an exclusive Moving Day T-shirt. Additional rewards are available at higher levels. T-shirts and rewards may be picked up at the Rewards Tent.
Participants who raise $1,000 or more will receive the All-Star Mover Full Zip Lightweight Jacket via mail after the event.
