What to Expect at Moving Day
Put on your Moving Day gear and comfortable shoes – it’s time to move! Get ready to exercise, explore Parkinson’s resources, join in the uplifting We Move Ceremony and enjoy the Moving Day Walk. You don’t want to miss out on the inspiring day we have planned for you!
Moving Day will take place rain or shine. Check the weather forecast to prepare accordingly. Should conditions warrant any change, we will announce it via email and the Moving Day website.

Location & Parking
The event will take place at Wolfe Park located at 105 Park Dr., Columbus, OH 43209. Look for directional signage as you approach the parking area. Parking is free and on site with over flow parking at the church across the street.
Check-In/Registration
Check-in begins at 11 am. Visit the check-in/registration area to grab your event program, drop off donations and pick up your Moving Day Rewards card if you’ve earned Moving Day fundraising rewards. We highly encourage online donations before the event. Don’t forget that all participants must register at MovingDayColumbus.org beforehand.
Schedule of Events
11am Event begins
11:30-12:30pm We Move exercise demonstrations at the Moving Day Stage
12:30pm: We Move Ceremony begins, followed by the Moving Day Walk
Walk Route
The Moving Day Walk is for participants of all ages and abilities: 1-mile option and a half mile option.
Restrooms
Restrooms will be available on site inside the shelter house, and portable outside.
Refreshments
Enjoy free bottled water and light refreshments on-site. Food trucks will be available for lunch and breakfast items to purchase.
Pets
Pet’s are welcome at the event, but for everyone’s safety, please keep your pets on a leash.
Donations
Drop off cash and check donations at the check-in/registration area. Credit card donations can be made online or through the Parkinson’s Moving Day App. You can also mail check donations to the provided address, ensuring to include a note with the participant’s name for proper credit.

Moving Day Rewards
Registered participants who raise $100 or more will receive an exclusive Moving Day T-shirt. More details about additional Moving Day Rewards can be found here. T-shirts and other rewards will be available for pick-up on the event day at the Rewards Tent, except for the All-Star Mover Zip-Up Hoodie Jacket, which will be shipped after the event to qualifying participants.
