I am participating in Moving Day® NC Triangle, benefiting the National Parkinson Foundation, on Sunday, October 1, 2017, at Koka Booth Amphitheatre, in honor of my sister – Katie Gulley!

After months and months of tests and visits to different doctors, my little sister was diagnosed with young onset Parkinson’s almost four years ago. In no surprise to everyone that knows Katie…she has taken this on like a superstar and is a true inspiration. In addition to the incredibleness that is Katie, she has drawn strength and support from those around her and benefited from resources provided through the National Parkinson Foundation. Through all of this, Katie has excelled and I want to do what I can to ensure that she has as much support as possible – no matter what this disease throws at her and others.

On behalf of my sister, others with Parkinson’s, and those that will face this disease in the future…I ask you to support the National Parkinson Foundation in a way that is meaningful to you. Here are ways that you can make a difference today – make a donation to the National Parkinson’s Foundation, attend the Moving Day event, or be a part of my team and/or sponsor me.

I would like to thank you for helping me reach my fundraising goal to support the vital work of the National Parkinson Foundation.

Why Move for Moving Day?

Did you know that someone is diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease every 9 minutes in the United States? No one should have to face Parkinson’s alone. That is why the National Parkinson Foundation provides a community of support to give people the resources and help they need to live well with Parkinson’s.

Support our mission to help every person diagnosed with Parkinson’s live their best possible life now. Your gift will help us fund better research, better treatment and better lives.
