Join me in the fight to beat Parkinson’s Disease!
Hello Family & Friends. Once again, I've joined Moving Day, A Walk for Parkinson's. Moving Day is one of the Parkinson's Foundation's largest events and provides excellent brand exposure to people in the Parkinson's community. The funds raised during Moving Day help deliver quality care to People with Parkinson's (PwPs), fund research to advance toward a cure and provide free resources for PwPs and their families. We "move", we learn what's new out there to help us manage this disease and we have a lot of fun celebrating movement - the one sure way to help alleviate some of the symptoms of Parkinson's.

This year, I will be doing a wee bit more than moving on Moving Day. I am very happy to share with you that I have been selected by the Parkinson's Foundation Florida Chapter to Chair the Moving Day Palm Beach 2024 event! Since my diagnosis in 2015, I have worked hard to establish a presence in the Parkinson's community and use my (rather loud) voice to advocate for all PwPs. Chairing this important event allows me to take that advocacy to the next level and with your support, we will be successful in doing so. After all, it is your ever-present encouragement that drives me to wake up every day ready for "the fight".

The big event will be held on April 7, 2024 at Okeeheelee Park in West Palm Beach, FL from 8:30 to 11:30am. Please join our Team Aloha on our one mile walk (no matter where you live!), make a donation to Team Aloha, or do both! If you are walking somewhere other than WPB, FL, please send me pictures or videos of your walk - these always warm my heart!

So mark your calendars for April 7, 2024, 8:30 to 11:30am and please help me make Moving Day Palm Beach a huge success! Your support is crucial in helping the Parkinson’s Foundation fulfill its commitment to finding a cure and enhancing the quality of life for those of us living with Parkinson’s.
