Location & Parking
The event will be held at Triad Park, Field of Honor, located at 9652 W Market St, Kernersville, NC 27284. Follow posted directional signage near the parking area. Parking lots are available on site and accessible parking is available. Parking is free.

Check-In / Registration
Check-in opens at 9:30 am. Stop by the registration area to pick up your event program, drop off donations and collect your Moving Day Rewards card if eligible.
We strongly recommend making donations online before event day. All participants must be registered in advance at MovingDayPiedmontTriad.org.
You can also help us prepare by downloading the Fundraise for Parkinson’s App before event day to stay up to date with day of event information, and easy communication with your team.

9:30–11:00 am – Explore resources, enjoy activities, connect with the community and join on-stage movement demos.
11:00 am – We Move Ceremony
11:10 am – Moving Day Walk Begins – Passport Winner to be announced
11:30 am – Final Remarks at the We Move Stage

Parkinson’s Pals Area
We have a special area for children where they will participate in activities and learn about Parkinson’s disease. We encourage everyone to bring their children and grandchildren!
Care Partner Corner
A special area for caregiver/care partners. Get your picture taken, paint a nail, and get some resources specially for caregivers. You are not alone!
Local Demonstrators
We will have multiple demo tents that will include Rock Steady Boxing, Music Therapy, PWR! Moves, LSVT BIG, LSVT LOUD, Tai Chi, and Yoga!
Walk Route
Moving Day offers options for all ages and abilities, we have two walk routes available which includes the Champion and Challenge walks, both are less than a ½-mile with the shortest route with the Champion walk being roughly 1/8 -mile. Click here for the walk route map.
Restrooms
Restrooms will be available on-site, including ADA- accessible restrooms.
Refreshments
Bottled water and light refreshments will be available on-site.
Pets
Dogs on short leases are welcome to join you on Moving Day.
Donations
Cash and check donations can be dropped off at the check-in area. Credit card donations may be made online or through the Fundraise for Parkinson’s App.

Moving Day Rewards
Participants who raise $100 or more receive an exclusive Moving Day T-shirt. Additional rewards are available at higher levels. T-shirts and rewards may be picked up at the Rewards Tent.
Participants who raise $1,000 or more will receive the All-Star Mover Full Zip Lightweight Jacket via mail after the event.
