My mother, Ignacia R. Soriano, dreamed that a cure would be found for Parkinson’s Disease so that no one in her family, friends or in the world would suffer with this devastating disease.     Did you know that someone is diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease every 9 minutes in the United States?  It is estimated that over one million people have PD, but no one knows exactly how many, how young or where geographically located. It is our hope that more research dollars will bring us closer to answers and a cure. I am participating in Moving Day® Ventura County, benefiting the Parkinson’s Foundation, on Saturday, April 13, 2019, at the Ventura County Fair.  Please join me in supporting the cause for a cure and donate at: Find a Cure Now Or come and walk with me on Saturday, April 13th in Ventura at 9:00 a.m.  The event will be a fun-filled, family-friendly event for all ages and abilities.  Please consider being a part of my team or sponsoring me, and I encourage you to get your friends, family and coworkers involved. Thank you for helping me reach my fundraising goal to support the vital work of the Parkinson’s Foundation. Why Move for Moving Day?  No one should face Parkinson’s Disease alone. The Parkinson’s Foundation provides a community of support to give people the resources and help they need to live well with Parkinson’s.Support our mission to help every person diagnosed with Parkinson’s live their best possible life now. Your gift will help us fund better research, better treatment and better lives.
